Futuh Al-Habash is a smokey vanilla & Somalian Frankincense fragranced solid cologne. This concentrated fragrance balm is meant to be applied directly to your skin. It is alcohol free and is made solid using Jojoba wax and Shea butter. 
 
Emerge victorious with the bold fusion of rich, charred vanilla and the smoky, amber warmth of Frereana Frankincense. The fragrance deepens with leathery notes of Tonka bean and the crisp sweetness of birch, all resting on subtle undertones of woody sandalwood. The result is a calm, warm, unique scent that leaves a lasting impression.
 
The name of this cologne refers to the Futuh Al-Habash (Conquest of Abyssinia), a historical battle between the Adel Sultanate (Pre-Somalia) and Christian Abyssinians (Pre-Ethiopia) led by Ahmad ibn Ibrahim al-Ghazi, the Imam of the Adal Empire. This battle took place from 1529-1543. This was the battle that led to the spread of Islam into Ethiopia. The flag of the Adel sultanate is featured on the label of this cologne. Interestingly, Frereana Frankincense is an invasive species in Ethiopia and does not grow there naturally. Inspired by this unusual connection, we chose to name this fragrance after the historic battle that marked the early spread of Islam into Ethiopia.
 
Directions:
This is a touch-activated cologne. This means you only need to touch the surface of the balm with your finger and rub in a circular motion to apply some to your finger. You can use this cologne anywhere, but we recommend that you apply it to your wrists, neck, chest, beard and behind your ears.
 
Storage & Shelf life:
Solid colognes should be used within 2 years of opening, as the essential oils will start to fade. Please store this at room temperature and do not get water inside the container. In cold/hot temperatures, this solid cologne will develop snowflake-like patterns. This is the natural crystallization of the product, and it does not mean that it has spoiled.
