MUSLIM COSMETICS is a registered and trademark-protected brand. All products sold on AMAZON & Etsy are sold directly by us. It's impossible for anyone to sell our products on Amazon as a third-party seller, because our brand registry and account are locked and protected against trademark infringement.

UNAUTHORIZED CONTENT SCRAPING: 
Scraping Is when automated software, AI or bots are used to steal our product listings, images, descriptions, reviews and other data, to list goods without permission and then lists the harvested data on another 3rd party platform (like a random unknown marketplace). They act like they stock our goods (they don't), and mark up the price (typically 3x the cost).
We do not authorize this.

Any 3rd party sales website we find scraping or stealing our copyrighted content from our official sales channels, will receive a warning and request to remove our trademarked data from their platform. Failure to remove our trademarked content upon request will result in : DMCA takedown orders, cease and desist letters, reports to payment gateways for intellectual property theft, criminal complaints and or reports to the relevant cybercrime authorities. 

UNAUTHORIZED DROP SHIPPING:
Most of these "scraping websites" engage in unauthorized drop shipping of our products. Drop shipping is where someone sells a product that they do not own or have possession of, often at a very high markup, and then go and buy it from the retailer. Beyond violating our trademark, Selling something that you do not possess is prohibited in our religion.

 

Narrated Hakim ibn Hizam:

Hakim asked (the Prophet): Messenger of Allah, a man comes to me and wants me to sell him something which is not in my possession. Should I buy it for him from the market?

The Prophet ﷺ replied: "Do not sell what you do not possess"

Grade: Sahih : Sunan Abi Dawud 3503

 

Drop shipping harms customers, marketplaces and brands. The drop shipper cannot guarantee the quality of the product, nor can they provide you with updated product photography, descriptions, ingredient changes and they provide zero customer service. We have sometimes even found our discontinued products for sale on drop shipping websites.

Muslim Cosmetics assumes zero responsibility for any items purchased through unauthorized drop shipping channels. If you encounter our products elsewhere and are unsure about their authenticity, please feel free to contact us.



LEGITIMATE RESALE OF PURCHASED GOODS

We fully support consumer rights and independent enterprise. Every customer who purchases our goods has the right to resell them, as long as you provide your own original photography of the item that you actually possess & as long as you do not pretend to have a "partnership" or "work for us". 

Example of permitted sales: 

1. Customer buys 3 soaps from Etsy, uses one of them but decides they do not want the other 2 unopened soaps. They take a photo of the product and list it for sale on Ebay or Facebook market place. We permit this action & no permission is required for this.

2. Customer 20 bars of soap and later decides that they don't want it. They go around to their local market, or Facebook group and tell people they are selling it. We permit this action & no permission is required for this.

We are fully open to partnering with independent retail outlets and stores that wish to carry our products. Whether you have a small boutique, a pop up shop, An ongoing booth at the farmers market, if you go door to door or if you own a big grocery store, We only ask Dad you do not mislead customers into believing that you are an official representative of Muslim Cosmetics & are clear that you are re-selling our products not working for us.
 

To our knowledge, no 3rd party has purchased our inventory for wholesale distribution.  If we establish a official retail partnership with a physical store or website we will list it on our website, so that customers know where they can buy authentic Muslim Cosmetics items safely.
